Police divers have recovered the body of a man in the search for missing Bristol university student Olisa Odukwe.
The body was found in Bristol Harbour, near Narrow Quay, on Tuesday afternoon.
The man’s death is not being treated as suspicious.
Formal identification is yet to take place but police have informed the family of 20-year-old Mr Odukwe.
The student was last seen at his home in the Redland area of Bristol in the early hours of Saturday 1 May.
Bristol University has said its thoughts are with Mr Odukwe’s family and friends.
It added that support is available to students and staff affected by the development.
The University of Bristol men’s football team has also issued a tribute.
The team posted a statement on its Instagram account which said Mr Odukwe was "universally loved" and a "kind, gentle and funny character".
Avon and Somerset Police appealed for information earlier this week.
A spokesperson for the force said: "He was wearing a grey YG hoodie with a picture of a black goat on the front, and either black shorts or black joggers.
"He may have a black racer style bike with him, with a black saddle and blue tape on the handlebars."
